JESSICA

I graduated from Leeds Arts University in 2020, with a BA HONS in Animation. During this time Covid had halted everything and became a massive part of my life. I was looking for job opportunities and struggling to find any that suited my abilities or that would take a graduate.

In 2021, I found myself on Universal Credit, where I was encouraged to apply for the Kickstart Scheme. I interviewed for the position of Media Assistant at Mary Seacole Housing Association.

While I have been in the working world of social media, I have worked on countless collaborative projects where I have taken a media assistant role where my passion and ability to work under pressure excelled over the past year. In this current position, I have been involved in digital campaigns and projects run by our team and involving other companies. The campaigns have allowed me to push my creative mind further when collaborating with other team members to ensure brand consistency. Entering the assistant role has taught me, new valuable skills and the ability to be highly organised while planning out a time-effective plan that involves a clear strategy for the whole team to follow.
