Further preparations were made for the Heritage Event where we chose centre pieces, selfie frames, picked out some yummy desserts, found a DJ and collated a list of those within the Luton area to invite from Friends and neighbours of Mary Seacole Housing Association to pillars of the community who have witnessed the Mary Seacole Housing Association progress and journey.
Our very own Staff member and Poet Jade The Infinite also took the time out to prepare some poetry to contribute to the event highlighting Desline Stewart MBE and how she and Mary Seacole share similar goals from traveling to the UK from Jamaica to making it their lifelong work to help others.
